Inclusivity statement: Equality and Diversity: Freeframe 2026

Freeframe is committed to providing an environment where service users, carers and family members, and community are encouraged to be inclusive of all. This means that we recognise that people have differing perspectives and ideas, but this is shared in an environment that does not tolerate prejudice. Inclusivity means providing a sense of understanding and belonging for all.

It is our responsibility at Freeframe to encourage and maintain equity for all in line with the Equality Act (2010). We do not tolerate discrimination, bullying or harassment on the grounds of disability, marriage and civil partnership, age, pregnancy and maternity, gender reassignment, religion or belief, race, and sex or sexual orientation.

We will publish measurable Equality Objectives that are reviewed yearly.

Equality Objective 1: Embed Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) in our decision-making

In line with our neuro-affirmative approach, we will review our policies and procedures yearly through a lived experience lens, in order to maintain and update our commitment to practises and procedures that actively encourage and maintain equity for all. This relies on us actively seeking out diverse groups of service users, carers and interested individuals, so that we can understand where there may be gaps in service delivery.

Equality Objective 2: Freeframe well promote a culture of inclusivity that recognises diversity and supports every person to succeed as an individual that feels safe within their wider community.

We will work to actively support a culture that encourages diversity both within our clinical practise, while seeking to engage within the wider community, supporting the health and well-being of all. Including service users, carers, family members, and the local community. This is done to support neuro-affirmation, provide a framework for integration and celebrate neurodiversity.
